FLUIDYN provides simulation software and consultancy services in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and multiphysics for the design and optimization of industrial process, as well as numerical solutions for the assessment and reduction of environmental impacts and industrial hazards.

Fluidyn aims at offering high-quality numerical engineering solutions to complex multi-physics applications to industries, academic institutions and public bodies (state agencies and local authorities) through consultancy services and software developments.

Fluidyn-MP, the general numerical platform for the simulation of coupled multiphysical phenomena (CFD, Conjugate Heat Transfer and Fluid-Structure Interactions) is based on state-of-the art computational technologies and physical models, thanks to close collaborations with renowned universities and research institutes.The software is extensively used for a wide range of fluid flow simulations, compressible, turbulent, reactive, multiphase flows up to rarefied and particulate gas flows.

Based on the general multiphysics software, a large range of application-oriented software has been developed for Environment and Risk analysis: Fluidyn-PANACHE, Fluidyn-VENTIL and Fluidyn-FLOWSOL, which comprise more than 25 dedicated modules.All software include 3D fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling as well as empirical and analytical formulations from industrial know-how. Specifically, the 3D-CFD approach gives extremely reliable results allowing a clear improvement on performances of environmental and risks engineering.The topics cover the simulation of the behavior gas, liquids, particles, multiphase flows, toxic and flammable gas dispersions, fires, explosions, indoor and outdoor air quality, water quality and noise.

Since 1987

TRANSOFT was founded in France in 1987 with the aim of offering state-of-the-art computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modelling numerical tools through a innovative series of software with the brand name FLUIDYN. The major themes :

Industrial process optimization through multiphysics simulation – interaction between fluid, structural mechanics, heat transfer and other physical processes;
Environmental impact and indoor/outdoor air quality assessment;
Industrial hazards assessment and reduction.

Soon after its creation, the first sister company was created in 1989 in Bangalore, India. The technical center is directed at the development of the FLUIDYN softwares as well as performing consultancy services and support for local customers.

Acknowledging the need to expand the expert consultancy services asked by our clients, the FLUIDYN companies were created in 2001 to provide services solutions with the Fluidyn series of softwares :

Consultancy services in the area of process design and optimisation, environmental impact and industrial hazard assessment;
Support and training of the Fluidyn softwares;
R&D in numerical tools and services.

Fluidyn two main service centres, in Europe (Paris) and India (Bengaluru), coordinate their actions for consultancy and software support.

Paris centre ensures consultancy services to European countries and Bangalore centre to Asian countries. They run parallel consultancy teams with frequent exchanges and a common data base of validation and case examples, for companywide standards and for customized inbuilt tools.

On major consultancy projects, technical resources are pooled. It gives significant flexibility for timely delivery of urgent and large size projects.

Similarly, software development and support services to Fluidyn software users are offered jointly by pooling technical resources–man and computational power, of the two centres. We strive to ensure an immediate response to any request, 20/24 hours and 6 days a week.
